Anonymous askedTo be perfectly honest I don’t much care for it. There’s just… no real excitement there, or at least I have a very hard time seeing any.
And as much as I like Kanaya I’m pretty sure I can pin this squarely on her, because I just find it so difficult to think up any legitimately exciting and interesting plots that predominantly feature her. You know it’s ironic, for someone who literally glows in the dark, she’s not got that vibrant of a character/personality. She’s subdued, stable, relatively predictable. And while these are all good traits for a person, they aren’t very exciting ones.
Although it is worth noting that it may just be that my brain has been poisoned by lots of dull but technically proficient Rose/Kanaya fanfiction. And to a lesser degree Kanaya/AnyoneElse fanfiction.
